Sand Volleyball

My subject turned out to be several different people and the sport is obviously volleyball.
I shot these far too late in the afternoon, and had to work to get them up to par. They were shot at the Linn-Benton volleyball courts
I had to double up on the medium shots, for lack of a "true" overall shot. But they turned out far better than I originally thought.

WEEK 3 ART SHOW YAY!

Sorry its late everyone! It has been a really busy couple of days! I have been in this photojournalism class for about 3 weeks now, and I have taken some really good shots and some really bad shots. I'm really proud of the action shot I took the first week of class, the one of the baseball player jumping for first base. That one is my favorite. On the flip side of the spectrum, there have been HUNDREDS of bad photos. This Art show I attended, ended up being one of my worst series of shots. It was according to user error of course, as I forgot to account for the dark lighting and floodlights on the apintings Works by Dan Murnae and Cory Self at the Ekphrasis Art Show last Wednesday. Gabby Mathis is a freshman student at LBCC, working towards a degree that would allow her to become a Phlebotomist.  She used to be a exceptional athlete in Track and Field at Henley High School, however she chose not to pursue that path into college.
