So, one of my favorite things to watch, when I am not at my parent's house, is anime. Now I'm not talking about the waifu bait, or any of the weird shit. I'm talking about Bleach, One Piece, Naruto and the like. These shows are realizations of art. Comics come to life. Unfortunately, they aren't always in English dubs, so I often have to watch with subtitles engaged. But this doesn't detract from the shows, they often improve it in my opinion. The dubs often just don't line up with the mouth movements of the characters But, there are positives to having to read these subtitles. I never miss anything, not matter how quiet. I do the same thing with my video games, subtitles on. On the other hand, movies almost never have subtitles. and with good reason! It can distract from what is going on in the picture.
